Really nice! Educate me on what are those round circle looking things, like rivets on the wing? (top & bottom)
The Econocote has to be the best way to go. But if I put tape on the forward edge of the wing should I leave it on if I plan on using the Econocote? Will it damage the wing if i try to remove the tape?

thanks all for your compliments!
the rivets are the strut holders. you should have them on your wing already. you dont have to worry at all about removing the tape after you already have it on the wing. it shouldnt hurt anything. if you're going to cover your wing in econokote, make sure you take these out before covering, and then put them back in once you're done. dont cover over them.

no worries. if you have any questions just ask! the purpose of the strut holes will become more clear once you have a plane in your hands

That is one good lookin' Super Cub, great finish and mod. Did you cut an angle on the wing for the throw of theailerons or did you just bevel the aileron cut out? You used Duro micro hinges? Great job!

yup. i took the cut out ailerons and marked the center of the inside of the aileron. i then taped them to my workbench with a square on top 5 mm from the edge. i kept my blade flat on the square and bevelled to the centerline of the aileron (if that makes sense). they have plenty of throw...more than you would ever use. the hinges are dubro micros. they work just fine i used all of these videos for my color inspiration and some how tos. be sure to check them out! www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=NeCubFlyeradmiral
