I too realize this thread has been around for ages now, but I've got a SCLP coming tomorrow and after watching NEcubFlyer's videos, I can't wait to coat it.
That said, for you guys who coated the rudder/elevator, did you make a slit in the coating at the hinge, or just go right over it? Does it affect the travel at all?
