Yes Wind, 24 hours, Both Day and Night
Has been beautiful and very warm....but the Winds are horrible
Seems 2015 has started out like 2014 left off
Use to be I could fly at night mostly, now have not been able to do that
I could fly my heli, it will fly in wind..but it is such a handful in these higher winds ( stressful ) to me.

Had great weather at the camp this weekend and flew everything I had airplane and battery-wise. Now the rain has arrived and is forecaasted through the upcoming weekend again.
I did get the plane rack built for the golfcart. Pics up later today.

Here's the new rack. Now I can carry 4 planes and all my boxes to the airstrip.

Sailor... hahah Whoops! And thats a neat rack, good idea. Ive strung some wire across my van in two places and padded it so that I can have one plane sitting on it, thus allowing the 3 to sit in there easily.
I actually managed a couple of batteries through the Sportcub this evening. Was a bit breezy, but its such a good plane and handles it easily. Way too windy to maiden the Bonanza though. I need some more 2200ish batteries to give more Sportcub flights now that old faithful is semi retired.

Interesting rack and very, very, er, American. lol Easier to transport without stacking them on the back deck of the cart. Will try to get better pics this weekend weather permitting.

Rolling on floor laughing, perhaps I was too subtle. Here Americans are the object of mirth in that they don't seem to walk if they can devise a machine to get them there. It's not so much the rack that makes me chuckle but a golf cart to get to the flying area. :-D No offence intended.

None taken, but I ain't walking close to a mile carrying everything we take to the field. Better living through modern engineering

More SportCub flying in some pretty stiff breezes this evening. And for the first time ever, I had company at my favoured field.
A guy I'd never met turned up with a 2m or so powered glider with FPV.
Was nice sharing the air for a change. Good fun with some pretty dammed challenging landings nailed nicely.

It is a whole lot more fun to fly with others I've found too. But, there is something about an early morning or late evening flight with the skies all to yourself.

4 batteries through the sport cub this evening. Probably could have, maybe should have, flown the Bonanza but the wind didn't drop until after 6 pm and fading light put me off... I didn't want to have to rush. Plus no one was available to video it.
Feels like a lame excuse, but I'm in no massive rush and I want to give myself every chance... Plus I'm a little scared of it.

Had bad weather Friday and last night. Got a couple of batteries through the float-cub and that's it. A friend had a Sig Kadet out fr a few flights this morning. Nice big old gas plane.

Seems we're starting to all have a good time flying. I've got 4 2200mah batteries and fortunately the club now has a large solar panel that happily charges half a dozen batteries at a time so I'm on an almost continuous cycle of fly-charge one-fly next-charge ---- Happy Days :-)
