Having just purchased a DX6i with an AR6200, I was planning on putting the 6200 in my Nitro trainer. I was therefore wondering if anyone has got hold of and tried the RXs above which Nick mentions and if not what is the best bet for a reasonably priced RX to go in my cub? The 6100 is a reasonable price is anyone using these and do they have a decent enough range?
Thanks, John

The 6100 is a reasonable price is anyone using these and do they have a decent enough range? Thanks, John John, I'd advise against going for a 6100 as any you can procure will either be old stock or clones from Ebay. If you go for a Spekky branded Rx you have two choices really, either the 6110 (replaced the 6100, works well, I have one in the Gemini and have flown that to the limits of my eyesight, however the Gem is smaller than the SC) or the AR500 if you want a full range Rx and plan on flying the SC way out. Be aware that this one doesn't allow flaperons with the Dx6i (at least I haven't been able to do it and can't find any instructions that have been proved to work), if you are considering this feature on your SC. If you do decide to go for a Spekky badged RX, I've found that Phoenixmp have very competitive prices. Stan is a great chap who will provide fabulous service. I think I posted a link in the shops section on here. As for the HK ones, they seem to be rocking horse sh!t in that every time they are in stock, they are instantly gone. A few UK fliers have managed to get hold of some and are trying them out, with no bad comments yet. At the risk of upsetting Dillz's sensibility , if you can get hold of a HK one, then that will probably do you. As after all, the SC "is only a foamie".

Ended up getting another ar6200, there was only £10 difference from the other 2 so I thought I may as well as I can swap it out to the CMP Spit eventually. I have also ordered one of the hobbyking 6ch orange ones, I await with bated breath if it ever arrives as still out of stock!
Thanks for the input anyway.

The links I posting in the OP go to the same. Always out of stock, so in answer to your question, no.

Dunno TBH, not ordered from em before. You're probably best not too though aren't you? You could be waiting for months otherwise. I feel a spate of correx and depron hacking coming on!

I cancelled the orange one and went for the dual aerial one alone, so hopefully no hold up. I cancelled via their live online help/chat. They, sorry Cheryl reckons I'll see a refund in paypal in 3 days!
