As I drove home from work last night I thought the same but didn't go out. A bit brighter than over your way. I thought you were gonna stack it around 1:25 and again a few seconds later, you like those slow turns dropping altitude then pulling out at the last minute, don't you Paul? ;D Does your Gem still survive? That's what I've used if I got roundtuit yesterday. Probably scare the beejesus out of myself in the process.

Hi Nick. Yes I got close to the ground a couple of times ;D I needed to fly slow and keep the cub close as the plane gets very small very quickly when using the gopro camera. All good fun. Unfortunately the Gem hit the deck hard over a year ago. I will get another. That thing really did fly on rails.

Nice little vid there Paul, I take it the GoPro is strapped to your head? I particularly like the shot of the loop starting around 1:48 where the sky goes on to fill the screen while the plane is looping, mesmerising Was grey and misty here all day yesterday too, bit brighter today! John

I have just finished building me Multiplex Fun Cub today.......and I think she is ready for a maiden flight now. I have been working off and on this plane for about 4 weeks now. I even put flaps on her to make it even more fun. My prop is balanced perfectly and I put the CG at 70mm. Now if the weather will let up and let me fly next week all will be great! I would like any advice on my first maiden flight....what I should do or not do the first time out. Thanks for any help you can give me. Wish I could upload a picture but not sure how to do that.

PLEASE , check and recheck that the control surfaces are moving the correct directions from the stick inputs . Climb out from take off way up to 3 mistakes high before making any changes , trims , etc . Have fun and enjoy a great flying airplane for many flights . Goodluck
