Hey gang. Here's my updated cart. Can you think of anything I'm missing before I put the order through? Attachments:

Looks good, Dill. Looks like a lot of stuff is out of stock though. Have you considered that aluminum mount and the turnigy 35-36? From what I hear it takes almost no modification to get it up and running. I ended up buying all my parts from redrocket hobbies. I stuck with the stock setup though and bought a bnf esc/rx for my dx6i. I also grabbed a lightly used bnf mustang BL off of rcgroups. I am going to really try not to fly it until I have a ton of time with ailerons on phoenix flight sim. Are you planning on waiting for everything to restock? I have very little patience. I wish i had more. I wouldn't have crashed my newly modded cub had I had some. I'm working on it though. Good luck with your new SC! looks like it's gonna be a whole different bird! \\edit: here's the motor mount i was talking about: cgi.ebay.com/Hobbyzone-Super-Cub-Motor-Mount-Turnigy-3536-/250591252393#ht_3850wt_1165

looks good to me, I wouldn't even bother with getting the 76g Extra Sized cardboard Box packaging. Just have them tape it together, put it in a ziploc, then toss it on a train, then fly it to a truck, after landing on a boat.
Otherwise, good list in my opinion, just the backorder and the box.
Choose wisely and listen to people older than me (like Fly and his gang) whomever they may be.

Dylan, what happened to the 35-36 idea? And I would go with a y-harness (is that what that AM2001 is?) instead of two servo leads so that it's easier to disconnect the wing and there's less cables. Also, consider picking up an extra TG9 servo as backup. I have three laying around. I see the Hobbyking SS ESC in there but you said you'd go with the 25A Plush which is a much better choice and you wouldn't need a programming card. That Zippy is the exact one I use and they are very durable and at an awesome price. As far as the backorder situation goes, I have heard HORROR stories of waiting months but I have good news for you: I have alerts on those items and they are in stock very very often and then sell out so it shouldn't be long before your order ships (I'd say a couple of weeks of waiting max); when they come in, if your other items are not in stock, they will hold each item for you until your order is ready to ship. Good luck and I'll be joining the Aileron SC Club very soon after I come back from vacation. Need to pick up a wing and a Y-harness

The Y-harness makes both the servos run off the same channel right? I want flaperons, so I need them on different channels.
I've always thought the 3536 was a bit big, I quite like the size of the 3530
I don't think I have much choice about the box, it's automatically added when you buy props.

You cannot program flapperons with the T6A

You can always just cut flaps in the wing for a more scale appearance. It just takes an extra servo and channel. I think I will go the way of one aileron servo (metal gear, >15g, digital) with bent wire and one flap servo (TG9) so they won't show.

the flaps close to the fuse also work better. It often prevents the dreaded tip stall

I was actually planning on having 12-14" ailerons that finish about 2-3" from the curved bits at the end of the wings. That way the lift at the tips of the wings won't be effected by the ailerons, so it should prevent tip stalls. That's the theory anyway.

Nothing can completely prevent tip stalls but certain methods can help you avoid them easier. Flaperons are great because you can have larger ailerons if you want and you can always turn them off. I prefer flaps because they look scale to the later model PA-18.

Dillz, do you have a good selection of props that you'll be able to try with this new setup. You'd be mighty p!ssed off if you got it all together and then realised you didn't have a prop.
Other items to consider: Wattmeter Hardware for your ailerons (pushrods/clevises/control horns etc.) Are you making your own mount?
