I finally got bored enough to get around to testing my new keychain spycam, and compare it to my other one. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes, but the keychain camera does actually take substantially better quality videos. Other than taking better quality video files, it also seems to have a more clever aperture than the sports camera. The bitrate of the files on the keychain is 6.5mbps, but the sports one is only 2.3mbps. This means that the keychain camera will take better quality videos, at the cost of filling your memory more quickly. Not that it matters much, but the keychain camera (at 16.5 grams) is also 2.5 grams lighter. Also, since you can mount the keychain camera flat it should be much easier to mount to the cub than my other camera. The keychain camera is also able to be used as a webcam, when the camera is hooked up to the computer (with a memory card in it) you can press the on/off button to switch to webcam mode. For me it worked instantly without installing any new drivers, so it must use the same drivers as my other camera. I might have to retire my original camera from aerial photography, and just use it for covert surveillance. Unlike the keychain camera, my other one has a sound activated standby mode... You can put it in a empty room, and as soon as it hears a noise it records for 2 minutes. Who dares me to put one in the dunny?

-I just tested the recording time on the keychain camera. I got 52 minutes out of mine, slightly longer than the sports version of the camera. For ten bucks this keychain camera is the ultimate investment in aerial photography!

Hey Dill and fellas.
I use the keychain cam all the time for AP(just getting in to it). Love the video quality, especially for what i paid for it. It's amazing seeing how high you actually fly, I can capture my entire town easily, and the video quality isn't HD or anything, but everything is distinguishable!
Now I'm wanting to take it to the next level. I am trying to find some good pictures of someone who has made a mount for a decent sized picture camera. I.E. Sony Cybershot size. I have a 14.7mp cannon camera sitting around, i want to find a way to mount it on the SC, hook up a servo(i have some HS-55's sitting around collecting dust..), and take pictures with the Xport button on the transmitter... lol TOO far fetched? What do you guys think?
It would be amazing if I could get this figured out!
Any insight?
