WOW! There is some serious detail under that wing. Nice addition SCC! I like it a lot. It seems like the wood is pretty beefy too. I bet it flies awesome..as they should. What is your predicted all up weight?

WOW your gonna be lightning with that motor. They say it can fly up to a 5.5lb plane. So your gonna love the extra power when needed.
Is there landing gear? And is it fixed? Kevin

MrM Theres no landing gear, this one is going to stay as a belly lander. When i fancy some retracts i will go for the Hyperion range of 48'' warbirds. ;D bar. I am looking forward to seeing it in the air. In the vids it looks great. Up close and in real life it's going to look FANTASTIC.

Nice looking plane. Does the Maple leaf under the cockpit mean that this would have been flown by a Canadian pilot/squadron originally??

FYI.... I didn't type "thingypit"... I guess this board automatically changes words that it deems pornographic or questionable.... let's try it this way "kokpit"

According to the linked articles he was an RAF pilot, but after some time he took over the Canadian wing in the 2nd Tactical Air Force. This looks like a very nice plane. SCC, you sure can pick 'em.

Hi Hammers. It looks even better close up. I must get around to putting it together, i cannot wait to see it gliding in for a beach landing.
