I live in Michigan's upper penninsula and flly daily. I am a fishing charter captain (for salmon mostly), general contractor, and last but not least the father of 3 GREAT girls. I have 3 Super Cubs, all set up differently. 1 with ailerons, one with glowwire for night flights, and one bone stock for teaching folks to fly.

Hello. I'm from SW PA and I'm new to flying. I have 2 pico sticks, a slo-V, and a bunch of AA and Havocs. I also have a Blade cx and a few FFF planes that I'm working on, but my favorite is the Super Cub. It is a wonderful plane to learn on. I am a technology teacher and started an RC club this year. I have 4 boys ages 4, 6,10, and 15. I have little time to fly but all the excuses to buy.

Hi Andy here, I am a Flight Test Instrumentation Tech (full scale planes) I fly a Supercub and an Aerobird Swift. The SC is a great plane, you just can't crash it TOO bad. I truly enjoy finding out how much it can take. I've gotten both of my kids, ages 25 and 23, to fly my SC. My son recently bought an RC tank, shortly after crashing the SC into a tree. He was mortified that the horizontal stab was torn off. "Nah" I said, "go get the glue". It was back up flying in 1 hour. Living on 5 acres in Kansas surrounded by wheat fields has the biggest advantage, no driving to a flying field. Waiting for the wind to die down enough is the worst part of it.

Hi, David here. I live in the White mountains on NH. 20 years ago I built, flew and crashed 3 glow powered planes before I gave it up to raise my kids. Well I have a girl, 15 and a boy 18 and I am now flying electric! I have about 9 flights on my SC. Some with skis and some with oversized wheels. I have just ordered a brushless Slow Stick and a Spektrum DX6 radio. To support this hobby, I teach languages at the local high school and selll everything I can get my hands on on Ebay :-) Ciao, David in NH

Hello All I'm Bill.As the name implies, I used to do alot of caving(that's spelunking) and other outdoor adrenalin-junkie stuff until my hip and my wife decided that I'd had just a little to many "adventures" ! I was a nitro/gas pilot years back, and last June I and a fellow fun-junkie got the first Super Cubs in our area.WE now have about five other kindred spirits flying the SC,and it's common to see a"flock-o-cubs" in the air every Sunday at our local Vo-Tech school parking lot!Jeff and I are both flying brushless/lipo mods we engineered, and right now ,the rest of the flock is "stock". I'm excited about this site, and I'm lookin' forward to meeting more pilots of the best d**n plane I've ever flown!

Greetings,
My name is Tony, and I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I am an electronics tech and operate my own repair shop. My brother-in-law got me into this hobby, and we fly as often as possible. The SC is my first rc plane and it is pretty much stock, although we have added larger wheels for warm weather flights, and skis for the winter.

Hello Tony! Where up here are you? I live in Ishpeming and as few of us fly daily on teal lake. I have plowed a 500 foot runway on it with my pick-up/plow. There are 5 of us with SC's right now but many more to come. I have several friends with r/c's and would like to see more people out there. Feel free to email me and I'll give you my number. Maybe we can fly sometime? We have a club in negaunee that would love more members.

I'm flying out of boulder, CO and have to admit that I thought this R/C stuff was some stupid thing my grandfather and younger brother used to do...however the SC has brought my over to the darkside and I'm hooked on making my plane more 'real'... the cub is my first and only plane and has thus far has been easier to fly then MSFS...lol
Best Regards. -Scott

Wayne here, I extend a hand of greetings to all. I reside in Southern Minnesota, married, father of one son and a pipe welder for GE. I have less than 20 flights under my belt with my SC and this is my first plane. My son has a SL, kind of a plane like apparatus. I have already enjoyed sharing and receiving information, mostly receiving ;D, from you kind folks and look forward to expanding my interest in this hobby. The Sky Is The Limit, Wayne
