Does anyone know what glue is used in the SC to mount the servos? I'm trying to figure out a way to secure my replacement servos for my Tx/Rx upgrade. Any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks, Greg

It's some kind of white silicone I believe. I epoxied them back so they'll stay forever though.

I've been using clear bathroom tub caulk. Okay yeah yeah... laugh it up guys, but i'll tell you what : it holds like a devil!!! i usually let mine dry overnight, but it dries up clear and will hold wood to foam and almost anything else you can think of. Colin

I second epoxy. Tried CA and PU and they kept coming loose. Epoxy has held for 8+ months.

Quick tip. Before gluing, wrap the servo casing with electrical tape. If in the future you need to change a stripped gear, it will be a lot easier getting the glue off the casing.

Where would I find gorilla glue? Also, nice tip about the electrical tape. Thanks!
I appreciate all of your answers. I look to this SC Club for a lot of help with my SC...

I've been using the hot glue on a lot of parts too. Out in the field though I use the CA. I will be looking for the cordless hot glue gun now, looks like it would work great for larger repairs.

I'm just a newbie to this but the best glue I've found is the Fast Cure / Dries White Gorilla Glue. I also use the regular Gorilla Glue but it seems the White is best for foam. My .02 cents.

Everyone seems to have their favorite glue. Trying and liking this industrial strength adhesive, E6000. Picked it up at a Michaels Craft store, dries clear and rubbery but can be a pain to apply. White Gorilla Glue is hard to beat though, foams up and fills all the crevices, just got to wipe off the excess before it dries. The cure time makes it more practical to take 5 min epoxy to the field though.
