Ah, and this is the reason I moved from MI to Texas. I don't miss shoveling the snow. However... I will admit, seeing those pictures brought a twinge of... hmmm... excitement mixed with longing. I remember how absolutely quiet everything is when there is a blanket of snow covering... waking up early in the morning when its still dark out was kind of nice. ... and who doesn't like a good snowball fight. But I'll tell ya, man. Its in the mid 70's 80's and I'm riding my motorcycle to work. I'll be up there for Thanksgiving... maybe I'll get some time in on a snowmobile.

Ah, but its different. In Michigan, when its 80 degrees out it is hot... and uncomfortable.. and you sweat. Here, it feels great... as if it were 68-75 in Michigan. Comfortable humidity.
I remember in the summers in Michigan... getting out of the shower and drying off... and being damp 5 minutes later. Don't have that problem here.
I don't like the heat either, hehe.
I also remember my skin feeling all dry and flakey.. and getting nose bleeds... from being in a heated house all winter long. I don't miss that either.
Hehe, I'm not trying to start an argument....hehehe Those pictures are nice, and it did stir a little longing in me. Enjoy it!

Oh no arguments out of me man. I have been to Texas....nice place to visit. I was born in a snow storm....lol. I love the summers and long winters....just in my blood. Where did you live in mich? It sounds like somewhere below the bridge (troll...hehe). U.P. weather is not around long enough to get miserable..lol. Every 5 minutes it's different. I guess thats why we are all diffferent......if not we'd all live in Texas...lol.

Born/raised outside Kalamazoo (definitely Troll country). East Lansing for college, then got out as soon as I could, haha. Now...to twist your words and put on my own interpretation for fun.....----- don't think for one minute that people from Texas aren't "different". heh
And no offense to the many Texans out there... but if I weren't living in Austin, I wouldn't be living in Texas. Haha, yeah I know... the Texan response to that is, "well we don't want you here anyway, Yankee! Get the (*&^ out."

Everything from the yooper cooler to hopped up snow blowers. hehe Nah... but I know exactly what you mean, hehe.
