Well when I have time......I work. I have a bunch to do just getting jobs ready and running around getting all the equipment and supplies..... I'm the boss. I love my job Well the gal from ontanogan might be drinking the water toooo much. Ya know that we have the best water hands down right? If the UP could break off as our own country...the rest of the world would envy us I think. We could sell you's water, any precious metal, wood, fish, clean air......and snow...haha. We are by far a different group of people. We are not stupid......just different from the rest of ya'll. We don't get too tied up in crap that doesn't matter like politics, who has what, spatting over parking places, designer coffee (if thats what you's call the stuff that tastes like liquid candy),..ect. we keep to ourselves for the most part. I love it here! Our moto is "Come on up and spend your money, but for GOD's sake please don't move here!" Kevin PS. Take a look at the map and see where we are and notice the borders. We have less than a 1/2 million people in these borders.....peaceful. Sorry for going on and on but I cherish our plot up here.

No wise guy here. If you walked into my driveway right now you could have your pick of 3 trucks all with doors unlocked and keys in ignition. Kevin

Problem with the guy who tries, is he will have no legs. Like I said, they are out there open and ready to use. Should someone try to steal them I have this other hobby.....gun collecting... ;D I gotta get to the woods and use one of them now. Take care fella's, Kevin

Going back to Michigan for New Years. I'll be way down South of you, though. I'll be out in the woods at a camp of sorts. Warm fireplace, lots of food and drink, fun people, etc. Hopefully a fair amount of hiking and no snow shoveling, haha.
It'll be an adjustment from the 60 degree temps I've been getting lately, hehe.
Happy New Year everyone.

Outside Almont. Small place North of Detroit and East of Flint.
Sure as a sthingyful of sugar helps the medicine go down, a nip of whiskey helps with the shoveling.

Well... we got like 12 inches of snow on New Years Eve day... then an inch or so the next. Definitely more snowmobiles around than cars. We were out of the way staying at a lodge. It was kind of nice... it was fun to make a snowball and throw it... and crunch around in the snow through the woods for a bit... it was novel warming up to a fire in the fireplace. But... I was ready to come back to Texas after several days of it. hehe
