Actually SCC, I have... just once. kinda windy and against my better judgement. The bird flies GREAT!!! It is very predictable and did whatever I asked it to. Now I have to get used to rudder on left stick. (take-offs & landings) Also, I am going to post some pics of the aileron mod & m landing gear mod.

Very sharp! How are you liking the Spektrum gear? I'm going to be slapping the AR6000 in my Cub.

The Spektrum is awesome.. lots of adjustments to play with. Definitely worth the money. BTW, are you going brushless also???

I'm keeping this one brushed. I have an E-flite 25 J-3 with a Power 25 Brushless in it - so when I'm feeing confident in my fixed-wing flying abilities, I'll go that route.
Yeah, I can't wait to tweak in the DX7 with the new electronics. The HS-81s should rock!

What did you use to mask off the areas that you didnt want to paint, did you just use painting masking tape? I am thinking about painting mine and i wasnt sure if i should just tape over the battery compartment or if i should just unglue it from the fues and glue it back in after im done painting, what did you do? Also did you use any clear coat after painting or does the krylon fusion hold up pretty well?
P.s. your plane looks great.
thanks
