Hi,
Brian Chappell is my name and I live in Summmerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada. We are on the east coast of Canada a small island. I have been in the hobby of remote control for maybe three years in total. Spent the first two and a bit trying my luck with heli's. Well it was expensive to say the least. lol. I can hoover my Blade Huey, and fly my MSRX pretty good.
I was at the LHS picking up parts and a friend there asked if I was interested in planes at all. Well after a couple of weeks I bought a CHAMP and few it for four months or so. Saw the same guy again and asked about going bigger so of course for him the Super Cub was the choice for me. Took me almost a month to try it out . So in that time I did every mod I could find searching the net. One fellows mod video started out something like " the 6 things I should have done" So he seemed to know what he was talking about so I did his suggestions and moved on to here.
I have posted a picture and a couple of videos already. The video was put in the pic of the month, my mistake. Any way I'm reading , learning, flying and just having fun , as each of my videos say at the beginning. A friend and I just started an indoor flying club at our local high school one night a week. So far it has been great, very cold winters here with lots of snow. I use my old faithful Champ at the school of course SC is a bit to big to fly in there!
Were holding an open flight night for the school to allow students to come out check out the hobby. I will bring my Simulator Realflight 6.5 for that night as repair costs are low, and plane choices are high.
So that is me in a nut shell. Happy landings to everyone, bring on the warm weather!
