FD, I actually have bought a couple gyro's for my planes.I have yet to try them, have not got the nerve back up to try it yet. Your right, it rolls over, problem is so fast can't correct it fast enough..it goes inverted..and then the panic causes me to push the stick the wrong way while inverted and straight into the dirt.
The Flaw in the design is me..LOL...
Now that I have this new Tx I can make adjustments i could not before, so at some point I will. I have a couple High Wing aileron planes and one even has flaps( have not built that one yet ) but will stay with the 3 channel and slowly transfer to the 4-5 and 6 channel ones as i get better at it.
I just had to try them , kind of knew it was beyond my abilities, but gave it a go. I just got frustrated at the weather conditions that kept me from flying and jumped and purchased larger, faster planes to try and get in the air and pay less attention to the wind...was not the best idea, but I love the planes even if they just hang on my ceiling, right now that's Ok.
I will stick to the smaller Cessna, Cub, Champ and the Super Cub for now and then go to the Decathlon and then later to the Yak 12 and as my ability grows I will get back to those War Birds and hopefully find a much larger place for those Large War birds and or finally get permission to be out in the open Field area down the road from me...it will take allot of grass cutting and mud drying, but it's a bigger place.
I read way to much on forums as well....I to could spend more on flying and less reading about it.....probably would be less nervous as well...reading about others sometimes makes one shy about just going out and doing it.
