I like the emax motors, I've used two, but I had to tin the heads of the bullet connector for a better connection, that plug into the esc. because when I throttle up the motor started, but at full throttle it die, or some times it would just chatter

You should be able to squeeze the ESC inside the cowl, good for cooling, Rx in the body.

The Orange RX has a single.......short......antenna. You want to make sure NOT to block it behind the motor, battery, or any non-conductive structure. A blocked RX is no RX. I've seen a Cub fall out of the sky when a guy just stuffed all the wiring in the fuse and flew right toward himself effectively blocking all reception. He didn't have a clue what he had done.
FWIW this is an issue with ALL short antennas on 2.4GHz. That's why some are labeled 'park fliers'. Short antenna makes it easier to block the signal. There is no inherent loss of range, just higher tendency to block/shadow the antenna.
The full range RX have antenna satellites or redundancy.
