Glad you all are still sharing stories and ideas here. I guess when we started this I didn;t see it getting so big and for so long. Glad it is!! Paul did one heck of a good job! So now we have SC's that you can buy with lipo's, do they come with BL motors too? I am behind the times here. I love my SC's and really need to get out and fly. It has been months since I last flew. I am off for the winter now and am looking at my project bench thinking....it won't be boring.
Til later, Kevin

Ahh the memories eh Kev. I must say, this place is still running because of all the great members who participate here. I have just looked to see when this forum started. It looks like 27 Jan 2007. Five years has gone so quick. I remember my first flight with the SC like it was yesterday. I am ashamed to say that I have not flown a SC for three years actually I do not even own one now. I think I will get one in the new year and have a celebration flight on the 27 Jan 2012. ;D Kev. If your still in touch with Todd send him my regards. All the best Paul

Yeah good to hear from you again Kev. I'm only a whippersnapper having joining in Nov '08 but it's nice to see names visiting from the past. I wonder how many other members from when I joined are still flying, an SC or other, the likes of Admiral, Ellis, Duck and Alexinflight to mention a few. How's that big (1/3rd scale??? memory like a sieve here!) bird of yours doing Kevin?

5 years? Shoot, I wouldn't have guessed. Yeah time flies. I was out for the first time this season on my new snowmobile (ski doo tundra) and ice shanty looking for some fish. It was in the same cove I took some of my first flights with my cow cub. I thought about the 5th or 6th flight on the black ice and wide open areas and the idea of .....3s lipo? I wonder if.... The rest is history. Yeah the esc handled it just fne and then came the ailerons on the 8th flight down there. Dang how this plane changed my personal history. In a good way too! The 33% edge is doing well. On the last flight I had with it, the canopy fell off in mid flight. Not fun! I managed to land it but only by the seat of my pants. If you go to youtube and search SMAC Edge 540 Kevin it will come up. oops that was the maiden. Just checked to make sure but wth might want to anyway..who knows. I will look for the vid of the last flight. It is here somewhere. Kevin

So I looked like mad for the video and it turns out it is still on my camera. I never got it on my pc because my camera program is not reconizing my cam for some reason. I guess I never uploaded about 1000 pics so far!! Geez!! I must figure this ailment out.
