Now I dont follow cricket myself but my understanding from the title and the pic is that what you are seeing is an English player being got out and an India player celebrating! No boasting about Englands skills as the thread is called for the "non Englishmans pleasure". I get Nick simply published it cos he took it and its a great pic he wanted to share. My understanding of EXIF is the data captured in a pic file with all the data of how the pic was taken. John

Oh, he took it himself. Well I understand then. Nice shot! Very kind of you to share the pic since I was unable to make the game myself.

Yes Dillz, I posted it coz it's an Englishman getting out which I thought you might enjoy, and I did take the picture and am quite pleased with it. John sorry for being a bit cryptic about the EXIF, I was rather impressed with the IS as it shows: Exposure 0.01 sec (1/100) and Focal Length 300 mm
This sort of breaks the rule of thumb of exposure = 1/FL or quicker. Oh, and it was handheld!

What I failed to mention earlier is that the 4/3 sensor effectively doubles the 35mm FL, so this is equivalent to 600mm in film terms which makes the IS even more impressive. Gimp is freeware that is similar to the (very expensive) Photoshop, Paintshop Pro and other editing packages, I use it for jpeg manipulation. It actually stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program. I also have DigiKam which is freeware RAW editing stuff but only use that when a jpeg isn't up to scratch (I shoot RAW & LSF jpeg).
