So today im going to get my first heli :-) the blade 450 3d cant wait im like a boy in a sweet/model shop lol
Had a few hours on the sim n seem to be able to fly around n hover..messing about i can hover inverted..do messy tick tocs n then land....
Anyone have one?
Whats ppls views on the blade450 3d! If any

Hi Paul. Since getting back into helis with the Blade MCPX I have been looking around at the 450 size. The vids I have seen of the Blade 450 look very nice, unfortunately I have not got one, but will be interested to hear your views.  |

Been to buzy today sorting my little girls 3rd bday pool party for tomorrow so not had chance to put my skills to test on the 450...yet.. maybe tomorrow afternoon...maybe not knowing my luck,kids come first..then rc..then wife ;-)

Thanks toff :-) just had a quick hover or two but this wind is no help so insted of smashing it iv put it bk in its box ;-)
When i say hover i mean 30seconds or so...but like i say it is windy and was in my bk garden w14ft..
Lets see what tomorrow brings :-)

What is with this weather??..i buy a heli then all hell brakes loose bloody wind/rain.....
Could have had a 32in flatscreen for what i spent on ao heli i cant fly..sorry..i could try n fly if this weather would let me!!

Update had two more nice hovers/forwards n bk,
Iv been useing my old lipos i used in the edf n im geting about 4-4:30mins each lipo but when i land after this time my lipos have swelled a little n become quite warm!
Like i say iv used them in my edf n got them hot n puffy :-( so have i messed them up?
One is a year old n the other is 3months..
My newest one i charged yesterday n was still charging after 100mins!my amps went from 0.01a bk up to 0.27a and usally stops at 0.01a after 48mins??
I stoped it in the end!
Then charged my older one right after n it charged n stoped after 42mins...i dont understand what it was doing!!

Hey pauliepilot nice heli by any chance are you also on one of the heli forums if not check this forum out. there are alot of nice people on there willing to help that's if you ever need it.
