After weeks of research I finally decided to go the "server power supply connected in series route"!!! It was a learning process and I had loads of fun doing it. When I completed the project a few weeks ago I was anxious to see how the unit would work in real world conditions. I brought it to Ireland with me and I have been using it for hours every day! I've been flying about 5 hours a day almost every day for the last week. The power supply has never even become warm even when charging 6 packs in Parallel at 20 amps. This is still way under the capabilities of the power supply and I would expect nothing less. Here is a short video of my power Supply: vimeo.com/27001254Parallel charging with the Paraboard: vimeo.com/27006525Ifly

Quick charging of stacks of packs, but bloomin' scary! BEGORRA, in yer video you didn't say SH'ITE!

Thanks Ging, I am not kidding when I say "I spent weeks researching this power supply problem". The floating ground on power supply(PS) #2 is one of thoese SH'ITE problems. Most people use the HP server supplies to connect in series. I decided to go with the dell because if the dell's touch each other it trips an internal saftey and all you have to do is unplug the power and it resets automatically. Im sure you noticed in the video, I not only protected myself from shock by raping the units in Milar, I mounted the units inside a plastic box. ;D
I cant think of any way that I could be hurt.
Most people would never need something of this magnitude and power. A regular PC power Supply can be converted, is completley safe and would be adequate for most users.

Having just watched the videos, I'm suprised! Not with the power supply, oh no! But...an American accented, germany living, Guiness drinking, speaker of oirish Sh'ite! Incredible!
