Having lots of fun in the windy conditions we call spring, flying my MPX twister (What wind?), GWS Zero ( Ooh, it's bit windy!), and my supercharged cub ( I'm not flying in that! It's stupidly windy!) None of them really had a problem ( except the zero, which only weighs 18 oz), but I'm a bit nervous over range, as all are flying on AR6100's ( The 'full' range AR600 is in the radian, as it goes highest) I have looked on google for this, but since horizon hobbies decided to label everything either 'Parkflyer' or 'full range' ( and price accordingly) with no info on range, does anyone have any hard data on spektrum RX performance? I have read one review where the person involved said the AR6100 performed nearly as well as the AR7000 at a distance of nearly 2.8 miles! www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=783753This is using a DX7, but as the two radios are near(ish) to each other in terms of performance, anyone have any other info about this subject?

There was a comparison of various posted on RCG some time ago (here: www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1177191)The AR6100 came out pretty badly but the poster suspects the Rx used had a problem. The 6110 tested to beyond 2 miles. Remember that there are other factors that will affect the range for a particular situation such as installation within the model, local "noise" etc. You've certainly got better eyesight than me if you suspect to are nearing the maximum range and can still see your models listed.
