Sorry to be so late in posting this. I hope to be there as soon after 10 as possible and stay all day. Yes, it would be nice to shake your hands and put faces to names. Never having been before, I don't know any meeting places. HOWEVER - I see that Horizon (makers of HZ Super Cub) are exhibiting. Would their stand be an appropriate RV? Otherwise, I can only suggest the ubiquitous beer tent, although I too cannot indulge as driving. Time? OK, I suggest High Noon. It allows us all to get there and settled in. Flying then is Scale Jets and Mixed Aeros, both of which are also on at other times. So - unless I hear to the contrary, I will be at Horizon's stand at 1200. You will recognise me as the extremely aged, bespectacled but astonishingly handsome bloke with 10-year-old, equally handsome grandson in tow. The password is: Super Cub Club. It will be great to meet you - but I ain't buying any beer . . .

If it looks busy (scrum for bargains) then I'll walk back and forth about 5 yards in front of the stand for a few minutes, looking gorgeous. Boo-hiss!!! ;D

Well, so much for our meeting! Horizon backed out from attending, so they didn't have a stand there - which meant our intended RV was missing! What's worse, there wasn't even a beer tent for second option. Grandson suggested we paraded up and down, shouting "Super Cub Club here!" but I dissuaded him . . . So, perhaps next year we will have to think again about a RV location. Anyway, first class displays by some superb flyers with amazing planes more than made up for the disappointment, despite overcast skies and cold winds. Overall, a good day. Forgot to take the camera, though! And I still don't know what gingingho and john66 look like. ;D

Myself and Nick did walk up and down several times, and every time we saw an older gentlemen with what looked like a 10yr old lad I shouted out "RENARD", nobody looked round. Did try though. was there from 10am - 3pm, good day! John

Yeah John shouting at old blokes was a bit embarrassing. I think we were lucky there wasn't a beer tent otherwise he may have resorted to more persuasive methods to get some to fess up to be Renard. I've been busy uploading piccies from yesterday, I'll put them in another thread so keep your eyes peeled!
