Anyone here going? Im hopefully going, only just realised its next Sat. Fingers crossed missus wont be using the car (its hers). www.blackbushemodelairshow.co.uk/John PS I believe Nick (ginginho) started a thread a while back asking the same, I couldnt find it so started a new one as just over a week away. |

John,
I've just had a thought, should your missus have the car it may be possible for you too train into my area and I can pick you up and drive us there.
This is a last ditch option though!

What time were you aiming to get there?
I dont know if Im missing something on the website but im sure last year they had an events running time. I want to see Warbirds fly for def, I think this was twice last year one in the morn and one later, not sure though as I didnt go.
Any clues?

Car is free, infact might even be getting dropped off and picked up by my gf as she might visit a friend in fleet. This all depends on one thing, as I can borrow the car either way.
The big question is........
Booze on site - I get lift!
No booze on site - I drive!
Can you answer that one Nick?

Bahh, you southerners and your airshows! I wish I could join you, but silly miles to drive, plus coca cola all day plus long drive back means a grumpy toff! If I can, I'll see you all north of watford. Hope you all have a good time. Take lots of pics! And post them!

Hmmm, Im thinking I may get there for 10ish as I would like to see the "Large Warbirds", I notice they repeat it at 1pm, but is there maybe a chance they will fly different models? Would hate to miss out on a large Spit that didnt fly later! I may well weep. Beer tent may well be out of the question for me now as looking like I will be driving myself (workin on it though).

John Fairy nuff, hangover dependant I may well get there around that time too. It is possible they will fly some different ones in the second stint, the shops tend to get as much seen as possible for us potential punters. If Renard can post a likely time that he'll get there (grandson in tow of course) before the day, we may be able to sort a meet anyway. Weather looks pretty poor according to the Beeb...Oh well they might be wrong, won't be the first time! ;D |
