My gf bought me this for chrismas it lasted till two weeks ago.  Then ended up like this after high alpha then flip then..  No fuss use the elecs out of it for the spair airfame i had....had is the word,1st fight when i managed to bring it bk after one control horn had poped off??? 2nd flight more oh balls....up n flying nice knifedge come round then nothink fan cut..no controls....oh balls after half hour of train tracks n 6ft fence jumping found it smashed over a 8ft fence got it bk in the end but not useing that rx again!!no pics of that one :-) |

..Then ended up like this after high alpha then flip then.. Paul, do you still have this? A mate made a much bigger mess of his Fantom (same manufacturer) and got it back in the air. That looks like it's nice big bits, get the glue out man! One other thought, did you check the fan for rubbing? I recall reading that Phase3 had some manfacturing problems with them, if this happened with yours it's possible that the motor could pull excess current, causing a "brown out" as well as your brown trouser moments. |

In the bin it was bent i did check n allso the second was bent beyond repair :-( thinking about geting a phase 3 ef16 airframe! As for the fan rubing!there is slight marks but think this is due to me sucking up a little mud? The fan blades are about 1mm away from case...personaly i think i was my ar500 rx the longest wire was slightly broken  Its lost radio contact once or twice but only for a split second then come bk...i bought it second hand so my faut....and had a ar6200 siting in a unused depron extra 300....if only i'd swoped dam dam. |

I think the crash may have been caused by the horrible paint job. ;D lol! RC-Model-suicide! hahahaha

Lol i thought it looked quite good....didnt no how to paint it so did it like that!
lasted 3-4 months it was my first edf n had only been flying 7months prior!
Miss flying it now tho :-(
My gf said she would buy me a ef16 airframe next month :-) surpose i could fly the v slow sc till then....n when i say slow i mean slug pace...like a glider its got a 9x4.5 prop n it dosent work gr8!

Ya binned it, pah! I'd've had the foam off of you and done something with it. Have you heard of the fabled "elapor soup"? Take a read on RCG or similar, I think that the Phase3 foam will perform in a similar manner as MPX's.
