No doubt many of you will have seen this video, but it's new to me. As a perpetual crasher, it gives me reassurance that I am definitely not alone. ;D Recommended viewing for anyone who is p***ed off with crashing - or if you simply like a good laugh! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fs31uKdk4Sk

That video is a HOOT!
Personal real experience. I was on a buddy box with a friend. In this case he was the Master (instructor) and I was the Slave (student). We were trying out his fairly new Radian and getting him used to being Master on the buddy box system. I taught this same guy to fly on a buddy box so he had a lot of experience being the student. That would be a problem.....
It was a bit windy. The Radian has a lot more power than it really needs. He gave it full throttle and chucked it hard into the wind. It immediately went into a big fast climb and started looping over. He freaked, yelled 'Take it!" and quit trying to control the plane. Of course he never transferred control over to me so there wasn't anything I could do but watch it come around and get out of the way as it augured in. Broke in 3 pieces. He was pissed at me over that for months even though there wasn't anything I could do about it.

Glad im past that stage now :-) Some of those I'd hope that everyone was, namely the idiots trying to launch in the most unsuitable places (garden, direct flight line to goal posts etc), but some of those I'd wage that no one is. The three that go in at speed between 22 and the 30 second mark may well be due to equipment failure. Not a lot anyone can do about that.

Sorry to dig up old dirt but I've been away. Been there and done that. The loop into myself was an error on my part. Luckily it worked out. Check out min 1:59. Don't bother telling me how irresponsible and stupid I was. I've already been tried and convicted for that case on another thread.

Your plane crashed on my deck. Call 703-435-0169 to get it back. I assume this has been posted by a member of the public. How kind of them to find this site and the owner of the offending aircraft to return it. Well done that person! Pah! N4768Z hasn't posted since April so this person may have a long wait...

Yes I thought that was pretty dang cool too, I wonder how he knew to come to this site. Whether there was a clue on the plane or the fella took the time out to do some googly research. Either way jolly good fella! Isnt N4768Z the coast guard chap? faith restored in mankind for a split second! John
