Nice one, although I'd be a be wary of adding the bits you mentioned there. I have no practical experience, but I'm pretty sure the PZ warbirds are not very forgiving flyers, a mate knows from his experience with a Spitty that is no longer with us. Adding stuff to it will only make it more unstable. Take a look at the vid that Renard posted (crashes), the P-51 that goes in hard suffered pretty much the same as my mates Spit. That's time for a bin bag and a visit to the pub.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! Yes, I have watched quite a few of the videos, but I'm also quite suprised by how many have it as their 1st of 2nd plane. I know I'm no expert flier, but I've got my fingers crossed that I'll be able to fly this beautiful machine!

I mean, I've flown my cub, depron parkjets (eurofighter, F-16, F-14 and that backward wing thing), The B-52 pusher, the micro P-51, my Twin-jet (Thats fast and quirky!), and my super chipmunk. With the exception of the F-16 and f-14 ( one crash, one broken at home), all these planes are alive and well, and have been flown many times. guess I'll have to wait and see! Having looked about, seems a lot of problems are caused by CG. Mainly being tail heavy. something to watch out for!

Get it balanced nicely prior to the first lob. Probably worth tuning in a fair bit of expo and reduced throws for the maiden just to ensure it's nice and docile until you know what it's capable of.

John, I only bought it because I'm a leather luvvin Nazi freak, with a penchant for leiderhosen and stomping about in big boots, while shouting "Sieg Hiel, Big smile!", and annexing my neighbours gardens with my own. In truth, I can't actually fly a plane at all, and it's all been a ruse, so I can buy one of these german big boys, and rub my todger up and down it's cold, heartless nazi exterior, and dream that 'Operation Sealion' had succeeded, and I was now Gaulieter of Yorkshire! "Heil Adolf!" Or, I'm just a big fibber, and I really like the Me109 as an aircraft. Very clean and polished lines, with a lot of history ( Did you know that the fledgling Isreali airforce started out with salvaged Me109's? Ironic or what?) I've also been to Auschwitz and Birkenau. If anyone is unsure of why the Nazis were wrong, go and visit. You can literally feel the evil at Auschwitz. Saddest place I've ever been. Birkenau is dead. No vibes, nothing. It's like the air itself has been murdered. There are still pits dotted about the outskirts of the camp, where there are still ashes held in pools of water. Left there just feeling empty. I like you too john, you do have a way with words, and no two ways about it, you are funny. Regarding the wing - Yes, but can you hold on to it for me until I get paid. For some reason I've run out of munney! ( or, could you lend me a tenner? )

reposted cos I deleted in order to PM you again but you replied here so before anyone thinks they're going nuts or you're gay I am reposting! ;D
Hi Toff if what you have is a ParkZone Messerchmitt (Mr Smith = Sh!t name) BF-109 and you would like a BRAND NEW FREE WING for the cost of P&P only (prob about a tenner) then I have one I can send you. I will throw in a new set of the retract covers too. Is there a difference between the ME 109 and the BF 109, or is it the same plane, ME being short for "Mister Smith"? Who knows, I certainly dont. Nice buy but Im simply not down with hun nazi sh!t, though trust me I'm not a goddam pinko subversive just a 1/2 y!d on my recently passed dad's side.
I only bought em when Squadron leader was closing down in order to rip off some nazi luvvin filth.....However from what i know of you here on SCC I like you. So even if you do like that $hit, I trust its for the pure admiration of the bird itself, after all they make some nice cars!
Anyways if its the right part and you want it for P&P only its yours.
Now takin up valuable hangar space!
John
PS I would have PMd this but Toff dont seem to read em!

Add a monster motor and you better know your stuff. Not like I have experience or anything.

My new baby has landed! Oh very much yes! Hoooo! Luvverly, beautiful, war machine BEAST! But....Lovely as she is, I actually prefer the clean lines of the ME109, rather than the lumps and bumps of the BF109 ( The difference in name is because they were made by different factories, or so I've found out so far) Got to admit, I find it weird that HZ/ PZ would make a true model of an aircraft that even the Ace Erich Hartmann admitted that the Undercarriage Killed more pilots than combat. Glad I'm flying hand launch! I'm hoping I can Bully/ Bribe one of my kids into filming the maiden. It's lonely otherwise.....
