Darn john and his bragging! ;D Gone and got a DX6i for 80 UK nuggets. Now I need RX's. Average price on ebay for an ar500 is about 33 pounds. Is there anywhere cheaper to get them from, that I don't know about? GC is doing DSM2 rx's for 6.52, but they're parkfliers only, and I'm looking for full range (for the radian). I need this as I'm fed up of losing signal with the radiolink T6ea... The radiolink states range of 800 meters. I'm losing signal at anywhere between 100 to 300 meters ( and this is not a signal rich enviorement, unless someone is messing me up with a jammer - but I can't tell) I would like a frequency agile futaba system, but the cost of the rx's puts me off ( 50 pounds plus) having said that, anyone wants a spare kidney, or the shirt off my back ( preferebly the shirt) let me know...) Any help greatfully recieved. Anything from john will be treated with banter ( No offence intended or recieved - Unless I'm on my Beeriod ( A Hangover- to the cousins), in which case I'll take the strop.... Well, until the headache goes, anyway.

I hereby grant you permission to wear long (bigger boys) trousers while you are flying! ;D But shorts if its hot, your choice now! John

Try Stan at pheonixmp.com, cheapest official Spekky prices in the UK I've found. a AR500 will still be over 30 quid tho.

WOW! This DX6i is.....harder to use than my radiolink T6eax! Set it up just fine, Radian servos moving back and forth. But...,NO THROTTLE! Could not get this to go at all. Tried reversing, all the different sdettings...nope. Switched back to the T6eax. No problem. Bang on first time. Back to the DX6i, re-bind, fiddle about. NOPE! dead! Until....accidently knock the throttle trim, and the ESC starts beeping. Ah-ha...it will not arm, until stick and trim are totally off. Dosen't say that in the manual ( that I could see ( just to cover my A$$ ))

Hi Toff yes bought some of these www.giantcod.co.uk/spektrum-dsm2-compatible-24ghz-p-405556.htmlThey binded and drove a couple of servos fine, not using them in my Cub as I already have an ar6100e £33 is about right for an ar500 on EBay an AR6200 is only a little more and will give you full mixing on the Radian, I bought one last week too! ;D Haven't flown it yet though Choice is yours

Best and most relaxing afternoon - ever! Radian, DX6i, 1x 2200mah battery=2.5 hours of sheer bliss! and who said the 6100 was a parkflyer RX? I've had this baby up at least 1000ft, no problem! This is the video of the first flight, only up to about 250 ft tops (AR6100 remember - I wasn't sure how far it would work. Now got an AR600 - So 2000ft next time!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFHMCD-r9UQ

But how come we don't get to see the landing? ;D I wish my flying field was as big as yours. Oh, and your camera date is three years slow!

But how come we don't get to see the landing? ;D Oh, and your camera date is three years slow! 1)Yep, close up of the stubble, and a blue blur on the field! 2)Because the camera battery died mid-air, I'll try again. 3) 3 years out of date - thats how lazy I am!

Blimey the radian is smooth and what a rate of climb! Today my engine mount for the Cub arrived from the states. My cub should have its recommissioning flight during the next week weather permitting, video cameraman booked too ;D
