Cool, looks similar to my installation. I think vibration will be a problem though. Here's mine, the last pic was taken after the battery inside the camera carked it, so now I run it off a littls 1s lipo i keep in the battery box.

What spinner do you have installed on your cub? I do not like the stock spinner and want to replace it with something like you have?
Yeah I think the vibration is going to be horrible but I will try it and then modify as needed.

I don't have a stock motor, the spinner you see in those pics is the nut that holds the prop on. It's the normal spinner/nut that comes with the Turnigy/XYH 3530/3536 rotor end prop adaptor.
Perhaps you could try looking at the spinner that comes with the Parkzone Spitfire? Otherwise, maybe you can look on hobbyking for a metal 4mm cone shaped nut?

They look like nice snow Skis Alaska, what are they? On the odd occasions when we have some of the white stuff I get all excited about making a set similar to those. I then get lazy and don't bother. Having some pre-mades would be very handy.

Hi Alaska
Where did you get those skids.
Do you actually land on snow and would they be any good on grass?

www.rcplanet.com/Dubro_Snow_Skis_Park_Flyer_p/DUB830.htmHere are the skis that I have installed on my cub, all the fittings don't fit so you have to modify it to work. They are wonderful on packed down snow, if it isn't packed then when you land it tips on it's nose. When the snow is packed it just slids perfectly. I haven't tried them on grass since I haven't seen grass since late September.

We have more than enough of it in UK and it makes landing difficult, to say the least. ;D Geoff

Tried the camera for the first time yesterday. The vibration wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be but it was still there. The biggest problem was the camera is pointed down to much and my plane just wants to turn to the right so I need to fix those two problems and try it again. It does have a good picture considering the price of the camera.
