I came across this on another forum I visit. I personally have no connection to this event, but a touching story that I'll pass on....
EDIT : link removed.

I've asked on the other forum if I can copy the relevant content to here, awaiting a reply from the OP.
It's Supercub related but not HZ.

I received a reply from the image (thread) owner who stated I could post a link to the image however this doesn't seem to work. He also would like to keep the story behind it quiet as it's quite a sensitive/private thing. Sorry chaps I don't think you'll get to see it.

Well the internet is sure a great place for sensitive/private things LOL! +1 on that comment. I have registered for that forum. I guess curiosity has gotten the best of me. ;D It requires someone to review my "application" (I guess for anti-spam-bot checking) manually so I'll be waiting for that confirmation soon. I will NOT be posting what I read on that thread (Found it on Chrome's History, nick ) since the author doesn't want it shared outside of the RCMF forums.

There you go. Thanks to Steve (the photographer who I have been communicating with) for posting the picture. He was kind enough to email me the original to post here but I've been so busy I've not had a chance to do it.
Erwin, No need as you can see. It's a touching story isn't it.?

I must be missing something here. "Sensitive, cool, very impressive, touching?"
Any of you guys ever had a midair? Just sad and depressing to me.

I must be missing something here. "Sensitive, cool, very impressive, touching?" Any of you guys ever had a midair? Just sad and depressing to me. There's a story behind the collision (or the reason the two planes were flying at the same time) which requires sensitivity. All you get here is a cool photo of two balsa PA-18s on a mid-air collision.

It's a touching story isn't it.? Yeah; at least it turned out ok in the end. Indeed, and the comments that followed suggested it was quite apt. I hope you visit RCMF regularly now you've signed up. You find an absolute wealth of knowledge on there, concerning pretty much everything but especially aircraft.
