Short video of my depron B-52, following a crash which removed 2 engine pods. Light plane (AUW 12.5 oz) in high winds (gusts up to 16 mph). Not helped by new flying site.

Wow, must have been tricky - does it have all that dihedral or is that just the wings flexing? Been so windy last few weeks all over the UK hasn't it, still waiting for a decent day to try and get to grips with my Cub Blowing a gale and heavy showers today again down south. Noted your "video director" shouting at you, these kids eh? ;D

Nice one Toff, flies pretty well. If it's not dihedral (didn't look like it at launch) a carbon spar or similar may be in order. I've got a couple of depron hacks which have proved fun, info here.

believe it or not, both wings have 6mm carbon tubes running through them!

Ah right, are they connected together? It looked like the wings were flexing at the fuse which would suggest not. Otherwise you must be putting some hefty load on them to get that much flexing.

Thanks to the comments made I can't believe I didn't realise that the wing joint had failed! The crash must have knocked the bracing loose, and I didn't know! Anyway, repaired and re- painted, so just waiting for a decent day. Thank you all!
