I've been looking at the HK one relating to another thread. I suspect that the Exceed one is the HK Version 1 as the Rx has a remote module, I'm not sure the HK V2 (as per your link) has this.

What are the other differences between the V1 and V2?

TBH, I've no idea. HK may list them, but don't bank on it. Some deep reading (it'll probably be discussed on RCU and/or RCG) if you need to know.

What are the other differences between the V1 and V2? I've been trying to figure that one out myself. I'm not at all pleased that my transmitter has been rendered obsolete only a month after I got it, if I break it now it can't be replaced. The main difference seems to be that the V1 has a satellite receiver, the V2 does not. Also, the V1 receivers only work with the V1 transmitter, and vice-verse. There is much discussion on what the difference is here: www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9042&Product_Name=Hobby_King_2.4Ghz_6Ch_Tx_&_Rx_V2_%28Mode_2%29Someone has said that: j-bird (74%) I have tested the the V2 and there is small range increase, and sends signal 0.023 times faster I was reading some discussion last night on RCG that suggested that the V2 uses 'true frequency hopping', whatever that is. Check out the last 15 or so pages of discussion on this thread here for more info: www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=967207&highlight=t6a&page=243

Yeah, HK's new version is better than Exceed RC's. The radio at $25 + the cable at $3 and shipping at $20 = $48.

Well, that sounds like a good deal. Just a few more weeks and I'll pick up everything I need for a full upgrade.
