Okay, so now I have yet another dillema.I am ready to cover up my fuse and wing, but alas...the fuse is painted! It has one or two coats of primer, Long with two coats of silver rustoleum. I have doubts about the covering sticking to the paint and the plane. Is there a way to remove paint from the foam cleanly? I would rather not sand, but if worst comes to worst, I will. Should I just cover over the paint?
And a question to those of you that have covered your wings. When you covered them, did you use the heat and stretch method on the tips, or did you just cut lots of tiny slits in the covering?

As for the wing tips, heat and stretch. Watch NeCubflyers video on YouToob, and take your time.

As for the wing tips, heat and stretch. Watch NeCubflyers video on YouToob, and take your time. Here's what I have found to be the best way to remove paint. Get a wide, tacky roll of painters tape. They come in various adhesion levels from light to heavy. I would go heavy. Stick and pull, get a clean piece then stick and pull. I removed a great amount of paint from my fuselage by doing that. Even some of the hard to reach cracks cleaned up well. You will be able to remove enough paint for it not to be a problem anymore. I would then "lightly" sand the exterior with 400+ grit sandpaper. Wipe all with a damp paper towel and you should be all set. Let me know how it turns out.

I'll let you know about the fuse. Thakns Thanks for the tips on the wingtips. It looks awsome now, but I can't get the pics of the wing up until around tuesday, but it does looke quite awsome if I do say so myself.
