How tight should the wing struts be?

Hey Guys!!

Can someone give me some advice regarding wing struts.

After I attach my struts they don't seem very tight even if I move them over as far as possible under the screw. Is this normal? I didn't know if there should be some play in there or if they should be completely tight.

They don't have to be tight. They're just there to keep the wing from folding, not from bending at all.

Dale,
Check that you are attaching them correctly at the wing against the manual. Many do this incorrectly after replacing the struts and wonder why they are floppy and don't stay connected too well.
