Hello All,
Recolored a Super Cub for the FMS (Free flight simulator). Watch for it Gary Gunnerson's web site, he is not sure when he'll post it. Already planning to paint my new Mini Cub the same way. Of course I'll wait until I abuse it some more.
The fuselage will be white all over, plan on using Krylon paint for plastics. The Coast Guard Red is really International Orange so I hope regular Krylon paint (Not for plastic) will stick to the white. The same with the blue part of the stripe.
The lettering, Star and other detail will be photoshop'd and cover with clear tape.
I'm not sure if I'll ever fly the plane after paint. I hope to upgrade as soon as I can so it'll make a nice static display.
