That was awesome! Great video from a unique perspective. I noticed your camera had a 1 second pause once or twice for the first 10 seconds, then cleared up. Mine seems to do the same thing, so at least I am not alone.
Loved the barrel roll, btw.

Hey thanks,,,, I hadn't noticed the pause, I'll have to look at it again. Shoot, I'm glad it still works, landing w/ the glider attached is not pretty.
I've got a couple things to try and correct, there will be more videos to come....

Now the was a cool vid.
I have been grounded due to wind in my area for what seems like forever now so I have seen pretty much every vid on the net of the SC. That one was without a doubt my favorite.
How did towing the camera affect flight characteristics of the plane?

Nice Vid Vega. Were you supposed to release the glider at any point or was it supposed to be dragged around for the whole flight? I ask as a mate and myself are thinking of towing up each others RC'ed MPX Fox's. We don't really want to build a release mechanism in the Fox's as it'll add extra weight. I think we'll have to do a bit of co-ordinated flying so that the Fox overtakes and is at a higher altitude than the tug when we want to break free.

Hey Guys, Wow,..Murph, Thanks, Best Super CUb video ever.... Thanks.. Towing the glider does affect the plane some. I try and be smooth while turning, and the glider sucks a little climbing power. Other than that not much different than normal. Landing does take some getting used to. Once the glider hits the ground the drag becomes apparent. But all in all it's manageable. It's all still in one piece after 6-7 flights....
Thanks GING!! No release was planned. This was an experiment trying to find a cool camera angle. The glider is just a mount for the camera. The glider is very nose heavy w/ the cam onboard so I doubt it would glide very well, plus I couldn't watch both the plane and glider at the same time anyway. With 2 people on the controls you should be able to force the glider loose w/o the complications of a release. Although I did see some really simple release mechs., basically a pin in a hole that can be withdrawn in a straight line to release....
Thanks again, Doing what I can to further the SUper CUb community......
