Looks great, I especially like the super cub writing. Did you buy the decals or make them yourself?
One small problem though: The wings should have horizontal lines on the top (preferable not black), and two vertical fat black lines on each side of the wing underneath. It helps you to see the orientation of you plane from a distance.
Did you have to flatten out the wing for the ailerons to work well?

I am still adding graphics I have some red reflective stripes going on top. I just made the ailerons and I am waiting on my electronics, the wing is not flattened and I plan to add carbon fiber rods to reinforce before flying. The ailerons are 12 inch long and 1.5 wide. I used blenderim 3m hinge tape and some of that thread reinforce packing tape for added security on the ailerons.... How do they look? I also beefed up the wheel and painted my old cowl with flames but I have a new one also that matches my new design... I will post additional pics as the mods continue.... Things being installed: ailerons 4-channel hobby king 2.4 trans and receiver 30 amp brushless esc brushless sport 450 from headsuprc.com 3-9gram servos 3 cell 11.1 1500mah lipo

I like the look of the ailerons, but when it comes to ailerons I'm no expert.
What about the decals? Did you make them yourself using the transparent sticker paper for inkjet printers?
I'd love to get a copy of that supercub graphic off you to put on my cub. Did you just make it with WordArt in Microsoft Office?

Nice looking cub Flash. I'd have to disagree with this: One small problem though: The wings should have horizontal lines on the top (preferable not black), and two vertical fat black lines on each side of the wing underneath. It helps you to see the orientation of you plane from a distance. With the stripes on the underside of the end of the wings, ailerons and the rear of the fuse I think that'll be good enough to see which way up it is.

Well, it's your plane really. You can paint it pink with purple polka-dots all over if that's what you really want to do and no one can say thingy about it.
I just know that when my plane gets 500m away it can be pretty difficult to see exactly what it's doing, but even from a distance I can still make out those thick black lines.

LOL @ "thingy" The language filter on this forum is funny. Is there a translator we can look up somewhere?

flash Just a word of caution, I just switched from an E Flite 450 to a HURC 450 Sport and am only getting half the flight time (with a 1550 mah battery) Had 20 min flights with the E Flite and GWS 10X6 prop, same prop with the HURC 450 will give me 10 min flights (both times I only had to put 68% of the mah back in the battery). As long as you're aware of it it's not a problem, motor is fine otherwise (like that it has the same bolt patern as the E Flite ;D)

I printed the pic on regular white sticker paper for inkjet printers and covered it with packing tape. I really like the classic style of the pin-up. for anyone who wants the picture here it is just right click and save:

The way the stock strips are on the under side of the wing, with long ones the other way on top, has save me a few times. Out of all the things that could be better, that's one they got right. I am thankful more then once for the stock decals.
Chris.
