whats a good glow prop for a stock cub,or wooden prop can a use? Probably none as they are heavy and stiff, so are likely to pull too much current to make it flyable.

They'll work, just not as efficient. If out of balance (likely) they will be harder on the power system. They will be harder to mount. Being stiffer they will be far more likely to destroy the power system on a prop strike. There's lots of reasons not to do it but if you got to, get something a little smaller and try it. Best if you have a wattmeter to test the draw but if you did you wouldn't ask so.....you are working in the dark.

If you want to try a glow prop for the durability, try an APC 10 X 8 gas prop, but like fly said, it'll probably be out of balance and more likely to destroy the power system. Ginginho hit the nail on the head when he said they pull too much current, glow props are inefficient on electric planes. Another way of looking at it is that if you do use a glow prop you will probably burn up the motor and ESC sooner and have to replace them, but at least you'll be saving a bundle on prop replacements. Master Airscrew does make some OK gas props but they have a larger hole in the hub and no adaptors. PS One prop I want to try is an MAS 9 X 7, on a brushless motor that has a bigger hub than the stock 480.
