sunday was an awesome day at the field. we held our annual fun fly which consisted of 2 events. for the first event marked boxes were placed on the field and participants attempted to make "blackjack" by scoring 21 points by landing in the boxes. second event was popping a series of balloons on the takeoff roll, with balloons starting on the ground and eventually reaching 5 feet up on balsa sticks, doing as many loops as possible in one minute, and then having only one approach to score as many points as possible by landing in more numbered boxes. a great time was held by all. club photographer Bob captured most of the action in this link...be sure to take a look! man does that avistar look great or what? (ignore the photo which shows her nosed into the ground the gear caught on landing i swear ) picasaweb.google.com/RobertFesus/SkylarksFunFlyJuly2009?authkey=Gv1sRgCIucgKHvt5v3aQ&feat=email#admiral P.S. be sure to look for photos to come from the aerobatics contest to be held in august!

yes i know that green and white wing is mine. it's a sylvan aircraft prodigy...only a $42 kit. add a few dollars worth of HC electronics and its one of the funnest flyers out there. 4 guys at the field have them and we all go up at the same time and chase each other around. that day we happened to be trying to hit the balloon you can see in some of the last pictures. the best part is theyre virtually indestructible...just throw 'em back up and your in business again. with a 2700 kv brushless they whine almost as loudly as a glow but at a higher pitch. check them out if you want an awesome fun flyer. the extra shipping to UK would definitley be worth it for this airframe

The shop is listed as a Sylvian Aircraft distributor which makes it likely to be at least of the same stable. A mate of mine who I fly with has been going on about getting a wing, this may be the one! Thanks Admiral.
