Nice paint job. Just had to chime in, thanks for reccomending the PZ J-3 landing gear a while back. Putting together a new fuse this weekend and am giving it a try, looks like it is going to be some kind of springy.

Covered using Profilm covering.
This is my 2nd cub & they both have the PZ J-3 landing gear.
I like the springiness, absorbs some of the impact of a hard landing.

Yes the tail feathers are covered with the Profilm, kept the heat gentle & seems to adhere better than the main foam.
Nice flying with ailerons but my rudder seems redundant!
