fun day at the feild, mostly

last weekend ended up being perfect, mid 80's wind under 5mph so the day was spent at the club field. i didn't have any planes done due to work so i brought the other hobby, the cameras.

first, my friend keiths maiden of his #6 phase 3 f-16, all went well, better its the 6th one he has built lol. just babying it around.



hanger 9 .60 p-47 and a kyosho .50 spitfire trying to fly formation.



maiden of an experiment that went not so well. with 4 motors spinning all the same direction there was just to much toqur on that small wing lol.



all in all a great day, other then the sunburn i got, that came with blisters on my neck lol.

Those Phase 3 F-16's are quick. Is that stock do you know?

no nothing keith flys is stock the video was almost all 1/2 throttle. its got a het 2w-20 in it. got about 136mph out of it today on gps.

that wing has to be one of the oddest looking planes ive evere seen...looks like the torque just pulled it right into the ground. elevon setup on that? and seperate tanks for all those engines? wow

lol yep 4 10oz tanks, it need alot more ground speed to hold it straight but it just started to lift with all that air moving under it. think hes gonna go with smaller props with more pitch, it has way more then enough thrust lol, i though the poor guy holding it was gonna take off with it when they were testing it. there actually wasn't alot of damage.

he has another with just two engines and i guess it flys well, waiting to get some video of it.
