Nice to see, I was hoping (but didn't get roundtuit) to fly mine this weekend. Oh well, the SC, TSII and depron hacks got some airtime instead. ;D

I wish we had access to that model here in the states. It looks so good. I bet it's really fun.

I've added some more info in the hack thread in answer to the questions posed. I maidened both on my own so no recording. Still, a mate has a wing too (and a HarpyCat he's yet to maiden), so you may yet get to see a pair of 'em fighting for airspace! ;D

Oh, my local HS sells Multiplex but not the Gemini. they carry the EasyStar and Easy Glider but nothing else that I've seen. It would be nice to have the TS and FunJet here too.

It's been a long time since my last flight with the Gemini and I forgot how great she is. [Images removed] As last weekend was pretty much windfree, I decided to give the Gemini a bit of an outing. Saturday I flew it and the depron wing (short vid in the home brew thread). I built confidence in the Gem and started trying a few tricks. Very enjoyable. The Gemini was the "go to" plane on Sunday after the previous day of flying. Again it was beautifully still giving me confidence to try some more things. Although it's nothing special, I just love going vertical at the end of a pass, half rolling then stick back to loop into a dive and pass in the opposite direction. I supposed it's sort of a reversed 1/2 Cuban-8 The last pack was flow sedately as a mate (Jon, not on here) had his SC up as well, so we decided to have a low level fly-by challenge. I believe I won as I managed a 50+ yard straight and level pass at less than a foot off the turf. Jon's last attempt ended with the well known sound of a SC hitting terra firma and nosing over. No damage done and big smiles all round. Let's hope the weather stays like this all summer.
