Normally love your videos SCC, but this one has a very sad ending. Maybe do a re-write. Call it somethin like Flight of the Gemini phoenix ?

Nice vid, up until the crash. Poor thing. I'm sure I'd be a little overwhelmed at first. But like you said, some glue and some toothpicks and you can get it back. I marvel at how fortunate you are to have such a nice place to fly... and am glad that you share videos so we can appreciate it. As for my Tiger Moth 400. Here is the thread, but you've probably already seen it. www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6579979/tm.htmYou can tell how much of a newb I am, haha. There are pictures at the bottom. I'm waiting to get the batteries in... so I can solder the connectors, so I can center the servos, then figure out how to set up the linkage. I've never played with servos and linkages so it'll all be experimentation. I already know the control rods are too thick to fit on the servo arms, so I'll have to drill those out a little... once I decide which holes to use. Then I have to figure out how to make the V and Z bends... and adjust for throws... I'm trying not to be overwhelmed. I'm not a very "handy" person, hehe so its all a challenge. Plus... yall are going to laugh at me like I have more money than I know what to do with... I bought a DX7. I know... what an arse... I own like 2 foam planes and I blow a load on a DX7 as if I deserved one... hahah. Well, I just like this so much I think I'll stick around awhile... so I thought I'd go for it. Well, anyway, so now I have to learn how these fancy radios work.... with mixing, expo, and all this other stuff... I haven't even turned it on... but I know I'll need to to center my Servos.... I'm just learning how to use the dang Triton 2 battery charger I got..... I'm lucky I can charge a battery. Hahaha Anyway, not trying to hijack this thread... if yall have any comments on that stuff use the thread I linked, not this one please. This thread is for S.C.C.

Well, I'm happy to report she's coming together nicely and the Flight of the Gemini Phoenix will be happening by the weekend, if the weather is good. I thought she would be grounded for a few weeks as I'm finding it hard to get an E flite 480 shaft. Fortunately the 450 motor i have has the same shaft.

Great to see it back in the air Paul. Was wondering?? Have you ever tried listening to music while flying, sort of choregraph flying with the music? Would love to hear Jose Feliciano...California Guitar Trio in one of your vids.

Would love to hear Jose Feliciano...California Guitar Trio in one of your vids. Thanks Bill. Mmmm, i've never thought about listening to music whilst flying, i think the iPod maybe joining me on my next outing. Choreographing music to video is too difficult, if there are parts in my vids that match the music then thats sheer luck.. ;D You name the Feliciano or CGT tune and i will have it on my next vid.

That's the artist, and the title! It does seem sometimes the flying, and music, come together liked you had planned it that way! Always enjoy your vids...keep them coming! And the Gemini looks great! Hard to believe the the resiliance of these foamies. Who have thought there was enough left to rebuild! Balsa would have been a write off!

Great! Such a cool plane. Sometimes I wonder if I should have gotten a Gemini. Really glad you got your flying again.
