I checked both of my friends 6i's and neither had the date code sticker lol. they are calling horizion to see if theres are part of the recall

wow totally overlooked this thread. could this have been the problem your buddies were having a couple months back when you said a couple planes got wrecked MM? mine had the 808E code on it before i hopped down to 72....

Not sure but I know for sure one of the tx's was just junk all together. The trim tab broke and the case flexed terribly. If you grabbed the tx too firmly (and I am not saying squeeze it hard..just a good grip) it would reset the software. We tested it over and over with same results...

I sent mine in just before the recall came out. There had been a service bulletin about the pot being bad. I just bought the new E-Flight MCX and was having problems getting it to work. Took it in to the LHS and they ran the test and said the pot was bad. Got it back last Monday after about 6 weeks. The only good thing is that Spectrum gave me a new 6100 receiver for the trouble.
