There was a great build thread on a UK forum that addressed some of the potential problems, unfortunately the site got hit by a virus and it seems this thread wasn't recovered. I recall one thing from it that may be worth considering, namely that the plastic strengtheners on the tail for the tailerons control rods really need reinforcement. In the thread I mentioned the guy replaced it with carbon fibre plates.

there is alot of informtion on rcgroups about this plane, we have 6 of them in our group from stock to over 800 watts. the tail is very weak and the tailerons will break if anything over stock is used. i have a video in the other videos section of my friends crash he used wood to strenghten the tail but it wasnt enought for 140mph. his new one is all fiberglassed, its heavier but it wont break this time. im picking one up soon, im the only one in the group with out a f16

Full flight details please Alex when you do, thinking on getting one of these myself. Sorry, It is going to be awhile before I can report on the F-16. My focus is mastering the WWII warbirds for the next months ahead, T-28, Hellcat, Spit, P-51. The T-28 has been maidened, and all went extremely well! Four Nice ROG take offs and all nice 3 point landings. I think the T-28 is a must plane for everyone learning as the "Next plane after the SC"! I want to put retracts on mine! So gonna be awhile til I get to the barn burning F-16.
