I think a thread like this will be a HUGE amount of help to newbies like myself who are looking to go to the next step with their Super Cubs and upgrade to either LiPo or all the way to full Brushless. I've been doing alot of research before upgrading but there are so many options available when it comes to the internal electronics that'll make you're headspin. So I think having everybody post what upgrades they're running on their Cubs would be helpful to letting many of us understand what components work together and see what people are actually using. I originally started something like this in this thread: is.gd/hPVb . But quickly noticed I was highjacking that thread and should have just started a new one like this (7 years of being a Forum Admin you think I would have known better hehe). So if everybody could follow this format I think we could get ALOT of great info out there for everybody and hopefully this could be a sticky for helping out in the long term. Brushless Motor: Brushless ESC: Servo's: Prop: LiPo Batt: Batt charger:I would include Tx and Rx, but most of the time they come together and people go with which model and brand they have or want. Myself I picked up a DX6i that came with its own receiver. The best part is that this can always been a growing and changing thread depending on how trends change, so we'll always work on updating this thread as needed.
