A landing is just a controlled crash and It's better to be down here wishing you were up there rather than being up there wishing you were down on the ground.

Try to keep the number of your landings equal to the number of your takeoffs.
and:
Takeoff's are optional. Landings are mandatory.

stay away from trees. i once crashed my cub into a tree 3 times in one day but i kept flying then decided i didnt like the wind

Sky is a good place for your aircraft, as is the ground. It's the transition between them that can be troublesome.
