Flying to lvc should be fine if it is set properly.

Well guys..think I've got it!! Can now, after some trials and tribulations, replacing both motors, 3 swash plates, 4 sets of rotor blades, etc...fly this sucker!! Can hold nose in hover as long as I'd like, circle in either direction...all the fun stuff. Think I'll have another heli in my hanger before too long...maybe an Axe CP, or Blade CP. Took since Fathers' Day last year, but am happy with the progress. Will post a vid soon, if I can get my daughter to run the camera.

Hi Bill. Great flying. The coaxial heli is a great start into the heli world. My next size heli was a Trex450. Slightly bigger but a lot harder to control. When you get into the bigger heli's like the Trex 600 it's a lot easier as they are very stable. Are you going with the pod & boom 3D or looking at flying scale type helis.? Here's my mates Trex600. It's the only time i get to fly a heli now as i got rid of all mine. It's an absolute blast to fly.

Hey Paul...thanks for the comments. Have been pondering the question. Only thing I have to go on is my G3.5 sim. Really find the scale helis stable, and quite predictable. The smaller ones, even on the sim are like trying to balance a ball on your nose! That being said, I really like the sim version of the Axe CP, and have enjoyed practicing rolls, and inverted flight. Dollars will eventually dictate, but have been looking hard at the Axe CPv3. The Trex's will come if I'm successful at the cheaper machines.
