Well me and my cousin went out to the fairgrounds with my uncle and I'm flying around in a dark area with only headlights on the car. I can see my plane at such a distance but I made 5 succesful landings perfectly.. So I take it up again and As I am making this turn I am thinking in my mind that my plane and that powerpole are going to make contact. That is what is always scaring me at this field. So I make the turn and BOOM it strikes and you hear "O Sh*t" in the background and the plane falls to the ground. I go and inspect the plane and I saw no Damage what so ever so I take it up for another flight to see if it is alright. I take off and it flys perfectly just a bit untrimmed.. I land it and I notice to find a nice Crack on the back of the fuselage under the Elevator and I get real disapointed for being stupid enough to take off like that. So I take it home and set I on the table and get to work. I have this stuff called AC Glue I hope its the right stuff, So I fill in the cracks and the outer cracks and I put 2 pieces of wrapping paper tape to make it stay and let it sit overnight.
Sorry no pics I kinda sealed it already lol.

Well My skills are but my eyes arent. You realize you are setting yourself up.... ;D I've never seen anyone that didn't crash. You've got minutes of flight time. Lots of people in here got hours, countless hours. Takes more than thumbs to fly planes-takes judgment, knowledge, and experience. Those qualities tend to be developed by making bad judgments, having resulting experiences, and acquiring the associated knowledge. What you showed there wasn't poor eyes, it showed lack of judgment based on lack of experience. More to come.......I'm still acquiring mine.

i completley agree. you may want to put more flights in than 2...lets say 30, before you spring for another plane. stay with the cub awhile and see if you still want to stick with the hobby before you spend too much money on it, because once you start it seems like everything could use an upgrade

We all know the saying, "it's not IF you crash, it's WHEN you crash"

Even after you have the experience, poor judgment is still lurking in the wings for some time - not that I know anything about that.

Some days, you know, you just have that feeling like you don't 'got it'? I went a couple months without a crash. The I had something go wrong with a perfectly flying plane > down in went while I stood gaping and not able to do anything. Repaired it. Did NOT do a GOOD field check, took off and 20 feet up discovered my elevator was reversed-dumb. Right down on the nose.
So, launched my 3D flat foamy. Got in a corner, got discombombulted, dumb thumbed it right on the nose > destroyed.
Should have quit there but my buddy asked if I wanted to try his discus launch glider. It's a really light, really fussy little thing. He has it set up mega-twitchy to float on any air movement. Of course I broke the nose off. Arrgh! Some days you just shouldn't even fly.

Until today, I had 2 hard crashes, several hard landings and only 1 good landing. I've replaced the wing, the motor housing and main gear (if that's what they're called) and the prop. I took the SC out this morning and felt like a T-ball dad who's kid is up to bat. I nailed 3 good landings and kept it out of the trees. Got a long way to go but having fun getting there.

In the past I have tried to fly without crashing. I have failed. I quit trying to fly without crashing. I now have decided to crash. My plane doesn't agree with this strategy. So now it's her responsibility to land when I'm through!

ive had about 15 flights with 1 crash so far It sounds like you need to do more inverted flying, especially within 10 feet of the ground. That'll even up your score a bit
