Well...I got tired of coming in on final...perfect landing and having the wheels catch the grass and flip the cub. When it happened and broke the fuse in half at the tail, that's when I pulled the gear. I actually like the look of it with no gear, no wing struts. She does a beautiful belly slide landing on the gorilla glued in skid plate where the battery hatch was. I load the battery from the top.

Alex, could you take a piccy of your skid arrangement, or point me to a linky if you already have! I couldn't find one when I searched for skid, only hit has MM going on about some under garments  |

Glue a slice of some old foam tires under the wing, for the faux retracts look. ;D
I hope that's not the hood of your car you're scratching up with your Cub. LOL

Thnaks Guys! Yes that was me not thinking about the hood of my truck and prepping the SC for flight. My cub is stock on the outside and slightly modified on the inside! Ailerons have now been cut for my wing and are complete.
