Hey everyone. I'm thinking of getting another plane sometime.
I was wondering what the next best plane to get after the Super Cub. I was thinking of something with a fixed wing, airlones and probably electric. But gas would be fine too. Also balsa or styrofoam is cool.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

well, i know someone else will tell you this, but i've heard the stryker is a good second plane. If you're like me, you want an ARF as a second plane, go with the GWS E-starter. Or if you're more into the kit scene, a mini-telemaster from hobby lobby with the aileron wing. Rock on High Flyer

Apparently the trojan T-28 is a must for super cub users as its a great stepping stone?
I think when i get a bit more space then thats where ill be spending my money

Same here. Ready for my second plane and been hearing good things about the T-28. I'm just about positive that will be the one for me. Need to buy a simulator and want to try Lipo's in the SC first, then I should be ready. :-)

I highly reccomend the t-28. It's a great transition after the cub. I had the cub with lipo before I got the t-28. I love them both.
Good idea to go lipo on the cub first. Get used to the extra speed and master the cub then the t-28 will be just right.

Hi Eric Check this out www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXNVC0**&P=0ADVANTAGESIt's big ailerons tricycle gear comes with quality electrics Comes with REUSABLE 4 channel Futaba radio Bargain price $199 WOW Sounds like a great next step trainer Now for the bad news. Because it's big it uses large battery packs, two even! So you're talking $100 plus for a couple batteries and a charger. Even so it seem like a great deal to me. M
